Six of Spades

"The Six of Spades is a card of anxiety. It usually marks a period of suspended motion in which the Querent can do little but wait. This may be a period of sickness either for the Querent or someone close to him. More often, however, it is a time during which the Querent awaits decisions made by others which he feels will be handed down to him. Because of this he is liable to feel trapped by circumstance and to cease his activities until he received further information.

"The Reader must be guided by the cards surrounding the Six of Spades in judging whether or not the period of anxiety will end happily or unhappily for the Querent. However, the Reader should take note that the outcome desired by the Querent and that which is truly desirable are not necessarily the same.

"The Querent should be advised that, during the period of anxiety, he should examine all facets of the problem and make certain that he has done everything possible to bring about the desired ends. Once he has done this he should attempt to dismiss the problem by plunging into other interests so that, when the decision is rendered, he is best capable of accepting it if it adverse or benefiting by it if it is propitious."

The appearance of the Three of Hearts is a warning that the pathway ahead is not straight, that there are pitfalls lying there to trip the unwary.  "The Three of Hearts may also warn of self-delusion. The Querent may have a subconscious knowledge that he is handicapping himself or causing himself unhappiness by his reluctance to make changes. For a variety of reasons he may be loath to face the situation or h

The meanings of each card can be found either in the click through link in the first mention of each in the synopsis or by searching for each card on the blog. Center Card :  "By and large, the central card (number 1) represents either the Querent (the sitter), his personality and the nature of his problems, or the primary influences which are moving through his life at the present moment." Ace of Clubs " The Ace of Clubs is a card of talent. It tells of high hopes and ambitions and denotes strong passions, imagination, energy and the power to communicate with others. Inherent in the card, however, is the suggestion that promises a
