"The Four of Spades is a card of recuperation or healing. It may mark the end of a period of sickness, prolonged anxiety or strife. 

"On the surface this may appear to be a period of wasted time and energy, but in actuality it is a pause to renew strength. On the physical plane, the Four of Spades indicates a time of convalescence after which the individual will be restored to health. On the spiritual level it indicates a cessation of uncertainty, indecision and futility.
